Medical Invoicing and Billing
MHM CHARGES 3.75% OF INVOICE VALUE ACTUALLY PAID TO THE CLIENT.
Included in the charge:
- Electronic submission of invoices to private medical insurance companies
- Paper invoices to self-funding patient
- Full coding of all medical procedures to CCSD standard
- Checking of all fees with insurance companies every 90 days
- Collection of all accounts from private medical insurance companies & self-funding patients
- Collection of excess and shortfalls from patients
- Reconciliation of all payments received
- Use of Worldpay so your patients can pay by debit or credit card
- Electronic storage of all documentation to the 23-bit8pm encryption standard
- Monthly report of all outstanding accounts to UK audit standards
- Weekly catch up telephone meetings with all clients
- Physical meeting every 3 months with clients
- Management consultancy service is free to MHM clients
- MHM is available to your patients from 7 am to 8 pm Monday to Thursday and 7 am to 3 pm on a Friday (including all bank holidays)
- The same fee level is charged to all medical professionals regardless of their specialism.

MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Other than a courtesy initial half-day discussion, MHM charges £350 per day or part thereof for management consultancy or project management. The charge excludes any hotel or travel costs
WHO DOES MHM DEAL WITH?
Unless you are a qualified medical professional, forget it. You must have a current GMC or equivalent registration. MHM Ltd is owned and managed by the holder of an MBA and will only work with fully qualified medical professionals.
For the vast majority of private consultant surgeons and other medical professionals, it is VERY unusual for this not to be the case!
MHM has 30 years’ worth of experience relating to this issue. Upon receipt of your current data, MHM will, against an agreed timetable, fully analyze the position and then contact all medical insurance companies, self-funders and those responsible for paying excess/shortfall amount to obtain payment. MHM will then ensure you do NOT get in this position again.
